Vice-Chair(s):

Calogero Schillaci, EUSO Calogero.SCHILLACI@ec.europa.eu

Main objectives

During the EUSO workshop on data integration/sharing (20 October 2021) at the 1st EUSO Stakeholders Forum, it was proposed that this working group would contribute to the vision of ESDAC as a data repository and an open data platform where the public at large can access soil related datasets at EU scale and its supporting documentation; the mission for ESDAC is to be the single reference point for any EU-scale soil data.

To that end, a number of work areas were proposed that could lead to the identification of relevant data/metadata that would be incorporated in ESDAC.

Members

See composition of the working group.

The membership is closed at least until the next EUSO Stakeholder meeting, likely in October 2022, after which a new call will be made for additional members.

Current Deadlines

First results expected to be presented at the 2nd EUSO Stakeholders Forum, likely in October 2022.
