(new 04 May 2021) New version v3.0.6 of the PERSAM tool PERSAM v3.0.6 (only executable): The new release PERSAM v3.0.6 contains a bug fix: there were problems with starting the calculation for projects imported using the ‘Import project(s)’ functionality. In PERSAM v3.0.6 this is solved and the issue does not occur anymore. The User Manual remains unchanged, so the one for version v3.0.5 applies.
(new 09 March 2021): PERSAM v3.0.5 (executable + User manual). The new features of PERSAM v 3.0.5 are found in section 1.2.2 on page 9 of the updated PERSAM user manual (version 3.0.5) that comes with the tool. Updates of previous versions of the PERSAM tool incorporated into v3.0.5 can be found in section 1.2. from page 6 to 9 of the user manual(v.3.0.5).

PERSAM v2.0.0 + PERSAM User Manual 2.0.0 (12 July 2016) New tool developed in the following context: EFSA is launching a public consultation starting in July 2016 on an update of the draft EFSA Guidance Document for predicting environmental concentrations of active substances of plant protection products and transformation products of these active substances in soil. The guidance published in April 2016 has been updated with additional approaches in particular for exposure assessment in soil for permanent crops. The PERSAM software tool has also been updated following the public consultation last year. The new features of PERSAM v 2.0.0 are found in section 1.3 on page 8 of the updated draft PERSAM user manual (version 2.0.0), that comes with the tool.) Published: 12 July 2016, Size: 220 MB,

This webpage was prepared in the context of the collaboration agreement between JRC and EFSA. It contains soil, weather and crop data collected by JRC and organised by EFSA for the purpose of this website. The site also hosts the software tool PERSAM for Predicting Environmental Concentrations in soil in support of the: "EFSA Guidance Document for predicting environmental concentrations of active substances of plant protection products and transformation products of these active substances in soil". EFSA was asked by the European Commission to prepare this Guidance Document.
