Description:
Research Group on Climate Change and Food Security at the Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences, University of Copenhagen has an open Postdoc position in crop-soil process modelling of arable and agroforestry systems. The position is for one year with possibility of extension and the applicant should have expertise in:
- Mechanistic modelling of crop-soil processes in arable crops
- Model calibration and validation for new crops and crop combinations
- Mathematical background to carry out the required model parameterization
- Experience with DAISY model is preferred
- Field trial implementation and sampling of plant and soil samples
- Writing skills for manuscript preparation and publication
- Report preparation for H2020 and ERA-NET projects
