PhD position in Environmental Geochemistry

Description: 

We are inviting applications for a PhD student position in the Environmental Geochemistry Group at the University of Vienna (Austria). The successful candidate will be part of the collaborative research project “Mercury isotope ratios as a tool to trace and quantify Hg species transformations in contaminated soils and aquifers (MIRACOSA)”funded for three years by the Austrian (FWF) and German (DFG) Science Foundations. The project will be carried out at the University of Vienna (Austria) and the Technische Universität Braunschweig (Germany). The PhD student will be based in Vienna, but we expect a close collaboration with the project partners in Braunschweig.
