Indicators on Soil Erosion

Soil erosion by water includes two sub-indicators: a) Mean soil erosion rate and b) Share of Agricultural area under severe erosion. The data refer to three data periods: 2000, 2010 and 2016.

CAP Context Indicator "Share of Agricultural area under severe erosion"

Soil erosion by water is the CAP Contect Indicator #42. This indicator assess the "Estimated agricultural area affected by severe water erosion (>11 t ha-1 yr-1)".
