Purpose Non-commercial academic research. We are building a forecasting model of sporadic Legionnaires' disease in Spain, based on meteorological data. The model includes area-level vulnerability covariates for each municipality. We will use the saturated hydraulic conductivity layers of EU-SoilHydroGrids to compute mean soil infiltration capacity per Spanish municipality, as an indicator of water retention in soils and puddles where Legionella can persist. The data will not be redistributed to third parties.
